Remarks:
For Non-Local Non-Mainland Students, the Programme Office will not consider applicants who select Bachelor of Pharmacy (Hons) in Chinese Medicine as their second choice.
Starting from year one of the study, students will attend the practicum sessions in which they have plenty opportunities to broaden their knowledge. During the summer break after the first year of study, students are required to attend a 2-week practicum in the Medicinal Botany. During the summer breaks after the third and fourth years of study, they will attend the practicum in either a pharmaceutical plant or an herbarium in Hong Kong, Shenzhen, Shaoguan or Guangzhou.
Career opportunities of the BPharm graduates include CMM quality control in the government sectors and business management in the commercial sector of Chinese medicines. Graduates can also pursue research postgraduate study in either local or overseas institutions for the development of new drugs.

Note 1: No alternative Chinese language qualifications will be accepted in lieu of HKDSE Chinese language.
Note 2: One elective must be Chemistry.

Note 3: The other elective must be any Category A subjects or Extended Part of Mathematics (Module 1 or Module 2).
