For Non-Local Non-Mainland Students, the Programme Office will not consider applicants who select Bachelor of Business Administration (Hons) - Accounting as their second choice.
The Accounting Concentration provides a balance of breadth and depth in the discipline, with a view of producing accountants with a much-needed analytical and conceptual mind. Accountants are always in strong demand in the business world, and this Concentration is carefully designed to provide students not just with training in accounting, but with multi-disciplinary knowledge, analytical ability, information processing proficiency, communication skills, and a sound liberal education for them to excel in the accounting profession and other business fields.

- A broad education seeking to build students' analytical ability, information processing proficiency and communication skills.
- Professional recognition from the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants (HKICPA), Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA), CPA Australia, Association of International Accountants (AIA), and CMA Australia.
- A special programme of summer classes is available to allow BBA (ACCT) students to join full-time semester-long spring internships with Big4s and other well-known CPA firms, or overseas exchanges without having to delay their graduation.
- Plenty of scholarship awards availalble exclusively to BBA (ACCT) students.
- Additional graduation options include a Double Concentration within the BBA, or a Minor in a non-business discipline.
Two Cities, Two Degrees in Four Years
Double Degree Programme with NEOMA Business School
Students accepted to the programme will earn two degrees by spending the first two years in HKBU BBA and the final two years in NEOMA Business School (NBS) in France. French courses and 6-month internship opportunities will be offered to help students further immerse in French culture and develop business networks. Participants are expected to expand their global vision and fully equip themselves in the job market upon completion of the programme. Double Degree Programme with the University of Applied Sciences and Arts Northwestern Switzerland (FHNW)
The University of Applied Sciences and Arts Northwestern Switzerland (FHNW) is one of Switzerland’s leading universities. By spending the first and final year at HKBU BBA, and the second and third year at FHNW, students will receive a BBA and a Bachelor in Business Administration (International Management) conferred by HKBU and FHNW respectively. The programme equips students the necessary knowledge and competencies to work across multiple functions and cultures. Experiential Learning Requirement
All BBA students are required to complete at least 120 hours of experiential learning activities (exchange/internship/service learning) before graduation.
Self e-Learning Requirement
All BBA students must have completed 40 hours of courses on LinkedIn Learning platform during their studies at HKBU to be qualified for graduation.
Graduates can develop careers in professional accounting firms and in government, commercial and industrial sectors.

My exchange experience enriched my educational experience and broadened my intellectual vision as well as my global network, particularly in the business field. Participation in the exchange programme was undoubtedly a fascinating learning opportunity which allowed me to step closer to my future career aspirations. Living in a foreign country was challenging but at the same time, it provided a precious opportunity to train my independence, which is important for my personal and academic growth. b) Category B (Applied Learning) subjects with "Attained with Distinction (I)" or above.
