Two Cities, Two Degrees in Four Years
Double Degree Programme with Simon Fraser University
The newly launched Double Degree Programme in business with Simon Fraser University (SFU) is designed for highly aspiring students who wish to learn and experience in two distinctive environment. Starting from 2018/19, students admitted to the BBA programme will have the opportunity to spend the first two years in HKBU BBA, and the final two years in SFU Beedie School of Business. Double Degree Programme with Kozminski University
The newly launched Double Degree Programme in business with Kozminski University is designed for students who wish to build strong business and financial foundation by studying in the two leading financial hub cities. Student admitted to the BBA Programme will have the opportunity to spend the first one and a half year course of study at HKBU BBA, then another one and a half year at Kozminski University (KU) in Poland, then another one year at HKBU BBA. Selected students are granted propitious opportunities to receive world class education from both institutions, and to enhance their competence, language, cultural, and social skills. Student Learning Experiences
All BBA students are required to complete at least 120 hours of experiential learning activities (exchange/internship/service learning) before graduation. Entrepreneurship Concentration students may also consider taking an optional gap year to implement their new business idea by setting up a new business.
Entrepreneurship Concentration prepares students to work as entrepreneurial change agents in corporate setting or form their own business venture.
Students may have the option of taking an integrated programme by extending their undergraduate study by one year, leading to the award of a bachelor's degree in that Major plus a Diploma in Education.
We adopt a holistic approach in selecting applicants on individual merits. Applicants are required to meet the University entrance requirements, English Language requirements and Programme entrance requirements (if any).
Associate Degree/ Higher Diploma Students/ Holders
AD/ HD holders or students studying in the final year of AD /HD programmes may apply for Year 3 entry.
Transfer students are current students of recognised local/ overseas institutions who are enrolled in a full-time or sandwich government-funded or self-financed degree programme.
Applicants who have completed at least one year of study of a 3-year degree programme or two years of study of a 4-year degree programme may apply for Year 3 entry.
Inter-institutional transfer of students is considered on a case-by-case basis.
Holders of Bachelor’s/ Master’s/ Doctoral Degree or students studying in the final year of a degree programme may apply for Year 3 entry.
